Boat ramps into the Cedar River inside the city of Cedar Rapids will remain closed in the short run as Fire Chief Steve Havlik works to try to get a better handle on how much debris might still be hidden in the river.

UPDATE: Autopsy results in the death of Gale Ferroggiaro are still pending because of additional medical tests that need to be completed, as well as further investigation, the State Medical Examiner’s Office reported this afternoon.
